Winter flavours in the new Ca’ Pelletti menu
22 November 2024Changes are on the cards as winter approaches, promising increased versatility and a broader customer-base satisfaction. 4 new fresh pasta dishes, 2 all-new ‘piadine’ and the ‘piada-burger’ for Gen Z and Millenials are now on the menu. Increasingly popular protein-rich dishes now available.
With winter just around the corner, Ca’ Pelletti – Cucina sempre aperta (Kitchen always open) is revamping its menu with a nod to tradition and an all-new, tempting offer in line with current trends. From 15 November in all the Ca’ Pelletti locandas (the two original restaurants in Bologna, plus the ones added in Padua, Florence, Bergamo Oriocenter and Milan), a new menu will be available, designed to offer an assortment that reflects the format aimed at promoting the quality of Italian cooking with dishes from Emilia-Romagna, in a welcoming and inclusive setting. One that, above all, provides a versatile culinary choice that meets the public’s demands.
Pasta, piadine (wraps), the new “piada-burger”, meat, salads and special formats, designed to satisfy the tastes of a broad and varied customer base made up of families, business customers and tourists, featuring a unique style on the Italian food retail panorama with a one-of-a-kind ‘kitchen always open’ formula, 365 days a year. “Data from the latest FIPE catering report, combined with customer preferences, show that catering formats offering simple, but versatile dishes are gaining in traction, geared towards meeting different demands throughout the day and different types of consumption, from highly functional to experiential”, explains the brand manager, Angelo Lamacchia. “The work that has gone into revamping the Ca’ Pelletti offer is a case in point, thus reinforcing its positioning as a ‘kitchen that’s always open’, ranging from breakfast, lunch, teatime and cocktails, up to dinner time”.
The FIRST COURSE section has been boosted by 4 new dishes, including one featuring Cappelletti, the chain’s hero product, served with a new sauce. The PIADINE section now includes 2 new entries of a “piadina ricca”, a quick and complete dish designed especially for business customers looking for a fast and informal, yet satisfying meal. But the highlight is the all-new PIADA-BURGER section, a new way of serving a hamburger in a wrap, designed to meet the tastes of Gen Z and Millennials. The PROTEIN DISHES offer, an increasingly popular trend, has also been implemented. A customer-centric approach to local customers has also been adopted, with a special, exclusive meat offer for the Florence locanda. Lastly, on 28 November, the FUORI PROGRAMMA (IMPROMPTU) series will continue, introducing 2 limited edition seasonal dishes every two months.
Ten years after opening its first locanda, Ca’ Pelletti has now consolidated its unique, hallmark style on the food retail panorama, as well as its ability to periodically revamp the menu, while remaining true to the inspiration of its origins. This means offering traditional recipes to its customers with the promise of including the tastes and warm welcome typical of Emilia-Romagna, through an extensive and diversified menu based on the time of day, thanks to the kitchen that is always open.
