Lavezzola (Ra), January 21, 2025 – Surgital, a Romagna-based company representing Italian culinary tradition worldwide since 1980, and promoting its unique territory, the Italian Food Valley, enthusiastically welcomed the preview of the film Il Trigabolo – The Story of a Legendary Restaurant. The event took place yesterday, January 20, at its headquarters in Lavezzola.
The day featured the participation of director Mauro Bartoli, the production company Lab Film, the authors, friends, admirers of the establishment, and the historic “Rock Brigade” led by Igles Corelli, who, along with many other talents, helped make Trigabolo in Argenta a true icon. During the meeting, the teaser of the docufilm was shown, previewing the story of the famous restaurant and its crucial role in the development of Italian haute cuisine. An official crowdfunding operation was launched to complete its realization.
Founded by Giacinto Rossetti in the 1980s, Trigabolo was a creative laboratory until the early 1990s, a place of worship for gourmands and industry professionals where the pleasure of taste, sharing, and experimentation gave rise to new gastronomic trends. Trigabolo was avant-garde: here, the young and talented brigade started from tradition to find new paths, new interpretations of raw materials and recipes. This extraordinary reality shared deep roots with Surgital: both adventures were born in the same period and territory, that fertile framework that is Emilia Romagna, where the passion for cooking, the ambition to innovate, and the creative spark have created a virtuous intertwining that has left a mark.
