Surgital: A beating heart in the community

This commitment is demonstrated through initiatives that promote collaboration and food security, strengthening our bond with fellow citizens. It is with this spirit that we eagerly participate in local festivals and events that offer not only moments of joy but also vital opportunities to promote solidarity.

Solidarity that we further extend through consistent food donations, which for over a decade we have been directing to the Fondazione Banco Alimentare. A small gesture reflecting our dedication to achieving Goal 2 – Zero Hunger of the 2030 Agenda: ending hunger, ensuring food security, improving nutrition and promoting sustainable agriculture. For the same reason, we also participate in the initiative run by the municipality of Medicina (Bologna), where, alongside Caritas and Ca’Nova, we prepare monthly meals for the less fortunate.

The arrival of the summer brought with it our eager anticipation for the scheduled Open Day. A day designed to encourage togetherness and a sense of belonging among all collaborators while promoting collaboration itself and love for our community. Every action we take, no matter how small, is guided by the belief that only through commitment and collaboration (Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals) can we foster a stronger and more united community, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals.
